Guild Applications

We are looking for members who are serious about raiding, we expect to do progression raiding and put in serious time learning new bosses. If you are looking for a guild to gear you up with loot this is not the guild for you.

Members will be expected to raid 3 nights a week, having signed available or not for every raid on the calendar. Members will be expected to be ready at the instance, fully repaired, with flasks and other consumables they will require for the evening at invite time.

We aim to be a fun raiding guild where members can have a laugh with each other but also put in the effort and concentrate when we are learning new bosses. Members are expected to respect each other and behave in a mature fashion.

Please note that if you constantly struggle to have any cash for repairs/flasks/enchants/gems etc. Then you should concentrate on doing dailies rather than applying, we really don't need someone who cannot raid because they lack the cash for repairs, have no flasks or have only poor gems/enchants.

23/09/2009 14:52 by Levva

On our first full week of raiding 25s we managed to clear Trial of the Crusader on 25 man. Gratz to all on a fine job. Excellent news to see that the guild is rapidly coming together and managing to clear raid instances.

Kill Shot will be added when someone who took it uploads it to the website.

Guild Rules

GENERAL GUILD RULES

- Be polite to your fellow guild mates and respect that people react in different ways to trash talking, respect peoples boundries.
- Read forum regularly, this is where most information of use will be posted.
- Check and remember how much EP/GP you have before each raid
- This is a raiding guild, your focus is on your main raiding character not on leveling alts. If you can't go raiding, don't be online running around playing your alts during raid time. You are allowed up to 2 active alts in the guild.
- Keep a civil tone in the guildchat, when you feel the need to spray 10 lines in a row with the following words: FFS, OMG, OMFG, NOOB, etc keep your mouth shut.

RAID ATTENDENCE

- There will be 5 days of raids per week, Sunday through to Thursday. 20:00 - 23:30 - We expect members to raid at least 3 days a week. Of course everyone has weeks that they can't raid, but this is not a problem if we are given advance notice.

RAID CALENDAR

- This is to be used by everyone for every raid. Sign up if you are able to join the raid. For courtesy let us know if you are not able to raid.
- Sign up for raids you are able to go to even if you think you are undergeared, let us make that decision
- Use the note on the sign up calendar to let us know if you will be a little late or have to leave at a certain time so we can use this info to put together the raid group.
- Sign ups for raids will close 30m before invites start. Remember that even though you are not one of the initial group you might still get a spot, so meet up when invites starts.
- Signing up late for raid invites may get you a GP penalty.
- Signing up and not showing up will not be accepted. As a member you will get a GP penalty the first 2 times, then removed from the guild. For a trial member may result in being removed from the guild. If somethings happens and you can't make it, try to get a message to one of your guild mates, or at least come to one of the officers and explain why afterwards.

RAID TIME !!!

- Be on time, on time is when invites starts not when raid starts!
- Don't come in PVP gear or PVP specced
- Come fully repaired, meaning 100% durability, not 95%
- Bring enough pots/flasks, buffing food etc for a lot of wipes. This is to be used on every bossfight unless the raidleader/assisting raidleader says otherwise
- When the raid is supposed to start everyone has to be in the instance and ready to pull, people asking for summons 5 mins before raid starts will not be accepted, make your way to the instance yourself or ask a friend through a whisper to summon you.
- During the raid there will be set breaks and no one is to go afk except for emergencies. 'Out of coffee' is not an emergency. Get drinks and visit the little boys (or girls) room before the raid starts and you should be set until the next break.
- Be prepared for bossfights!! People that haven't read up on the bossfights will be removed from the raid.
- During the raid, the raid leader is "GOD". If he tells you to jump you don't even ask how high, just do it. But don't be afraid to ask if you can't understand what you are supposed to do. If you disagree with something or have different strategies, speak it with the raidleader personally, preferably after the raid has ended, unless the raidleader asks for help.
- Everyone has to be on Ventrilo for the raid, preferably with a mic. Chit chat is fine during trash clearing, but during boss fights the general rule is that the only one talking is the raid leader or assigned assists. He can ask others to help calling things should he feel the need.
- The raid chatting channel is to be kept clear of all chit chat. This is only to be used for information needed for raid progress, missing buffs, instructions, need hs, water etc. Everything else, take it in guild chat.

Anyone not following these rules will be replaced, will get a penalty and will lose the first right to a spot in the next raid.
